iPhone Duo is Apple’s take on the foldable phone, and it’s more than a gimmick. Closed, you get a 5.4 inch Super Retina XDR cover screen that works like a normal iPhone.
Open it up and you’ve got a 7.6 inch inner display, the biggest screen ever on an iPhone, which is genuinely useful for anything from browsing to watching a film to running two apps side by side with Split View. It’s built on the same A20 Pro chip as the Pro models, with a dual camera system on the back and a proper under display selfie camera when it’s folded shut.
The hinge and frame are made from grade 5 titanium, and it still carries IP68 water resistance along with Ceramic Shield front and back, so it’s not fragile just because it folds. Battery life holds up too, up to 31 hours of video on the inner screen and 44 hours on the cover screen. It comes in Night Sky and Star White, with storage from 256GB up to 2TB, and it’s the clearest sign yet of where Apple is taking the iPhone next.
